This privacy policy explains to users the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and usage of personal data on this website (hereinafter referred to as “Website”) by the responsible provider, PEDAX GmbH.
The legal basis for data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Access data/ Server log files
The provider (or their web host) collects data every time the Website is accessed (so-called server log files). The access data includes: name of the website viewed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.
The provider will only use log data for statistical analysis for the purpose of the operation, safety and optimisation of the Website. The provider retains the right, however, to conduct later review of the log data if firm indications lead to reasonable suspicion of unlawful use.

SalesViewer Technology compliance
We have implemented SalesViewer® technology, owned by SalesViewer® GmbH, to gather and store data for research, marketing and optimization purposes. Handling of personal data
Personal data is information that helps to identify a person, i.e. data that can be traced back to a person. This includes their name, e-mail address or telephone number. However, data on preferences, hobbies, memberships or a person’s website search history also count as personal data.
Personal data will only be collected, used and passed on by the provider if permitted by law or upon the user’s consent to data collection.

When contacting the provider (for example, via contact form or e-mail) the user’s contact details will be stored for the purposes of processing the request or in case of any follow-up questions.

Our newsletter contains information about us and our offers.
If you would like to receive the newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the provided e-mail address or that the owner agrees to receive the newsletter. No further data will be collected. This data will only be used for sending the newsletter and will not be forwarded to third parties. Upon registering for the newsletter, we will save your IP address and the date of registration. This stored data is used solely as evidence in the event that a third party abuses an e-mail address and registers to receive the newsletter without the knowledge of the entitled person.
Your consent to the storage of your data and e-mail address and the use of such for sending the newsletter may be withdrawn at any time. You may withdraw your consent via a link in the newsletter itself or by sending a message using the contact details above.
Inclusion of third party content and services
It is possible that third party content, such as YouTube videos, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites may be imbedded in this website. This always requires the provider of such content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party provider”) to be able to recognise the user’s IP address. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the particular user’s browser. The IP address is therefore necessary to display this content. We strive only to use content from providers who use the IP address solely for the purpose of delivering such content. However, we have no control over the storage of IP addresses by any third party, e.g. for statistical purposes. Insofar as we are aware of such, we will inform the users of this accordingly.

Cookies are small files that enable storage of specific information to the user’s access device (PC, smartphone, or similar) relating to that device. On the one hand, they help to make websites user-friendly and are, as such, of benefit to the users (e.g. the storage of login details). On the other hand, they serve to collect statistical data on website usage to enable the analysis of such for the improvement of our Website. The user can control the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option that either limits or completely prevents the storage of cookies. However, it should be noted that usage and, in particular, user convenience is limited without cookies.

On the following US website or on the EU website at , you can view and control the use of many online ad cookies placed by companies.

Cancellation, changes, amendments and updates
Upon request, users have the right to obtain information free of charge about the stored personal data relating to them. In addition, the user has the right to the correction of inaccurate data and the blocking and deletion of their personal data where there is no legal obligation for the retention of such.
